About Us

Lazy Dayz has been a dream come true for us. As we have gone through our busy lives raising children, military and insurance careers, Lazy Dayz has to be the most interesting.

We have nine acres which was once one of the original farms in the Horseshoe Valley area. We are constantly discovering facts about the property's history and look forward to learning more.

The barn, which was built in 1892, is now used to entertain family reunions and small weddings. It will hold approximately 85 people. The uniqueness of the property is the original barn and farm house that still remain.

The garage/carriage house was renovated by previous owners and we have done extensive work on the Guest House which is Lazy Dayz Bed and Breakfast.

You will enjoy the two acres of cleared property which have 200 year old maple trees, cedar hedges, lilac bushes and many types of lilies and iris.

Relaxing on the covered veranda in the warmer months is what Lazy Dayz is all about. It allows everyone to enjoy the many birds and foliage while enjoying their morning coffee.
